Avanade, the leading global integrator specializing in the Microsoft enterprise platform, and NPower NY, a nonprofit enabling nonprofits to better utilize technology, are offering you an opportunity to be an organizational hero.

Submit an application to receive nearly a half million dollars' worth of services, hardware, and software to upgrade your organization.

All applicants will receive a free 1-year membership or auto-renewal to NPower NY, which includes access to discounted or free volunteer resources, software, hardware, workshops, and webinars.

The grand prize includes:

Consulting services worth $150,000, including two consultants for 4-6 weeks, from Avanade.
$50,000 in software licenses and $50,000 for physical improvements to a technology center or training from Microsoft (software licenses include 3 year Software Assurance plan to cover any upgrade or license requirements for that period of time).
Server and storage value of $150,000 from Network Appliances.

An online Microsoft certification course (full list); access to Books 24x7.com, an online library of the latest technical and business books; and a 1-year membership to NPower NY will be awarded to the second and third place winners.

All submissions are due by May 26th, 2006. Winners will be announced on June 20th at a breakfast event in New York hosted by Avanade and NPower NY.
